LIVE: Register the day of sale with your driver’s license or identification card. You will then be given a bidder number to use for the day.

ABSENTEE: Absentee bidding allows our clerk to bid competitively on your behalf. You may register online with us and bid for live auctions that include absentee bidding and bid our online only auctions through,

SHIPPING & PICK UP: Hessney Auction can arrange shipping nationwide and internationally at the buyer’s expense. All purchases not picked up the day of sale must be paid for and removed within the week, special arrangements can be made upon request.


LIVE AUCTION: Hessney Auction has a 13% buyer’s premium that will be added to each purchase, with a 3% discount for cash or NYS check. We accept Cash, NYS check, Master Card, Visa and Discover. Everything is sold AS IS!

ABSENTEE on ONLINE ONLY AUCTIONS: All absentee and online only auction bidders will be charged 13% buyers premium to all purchases. ALL ABSENTEE Bidders will have their Credit Card they registered with run on the business day following the auction. No Exceptions.


Buyers registering for and using Hessney bid number card and/or Absentee/Phone Bid Form agree to the following TERMS OF SALE.


All items are available for inspection whether on the floor, on the walls, or in the showcases. Buyers are encouraged to thoroughly inspect all items to be sold and to do so during advertised preview time. Assistance with inspection will be provided on request during scheduled preview time. Buyers, including absentee bidders, are responsible for making their own decisions regarding age, condition, etc.


Hessney Auction Co. LTD. provides ample opportunity for buyers to thoroughly inspect goods to be sold. All purchases should be made on the buyer’s own recognizance. All persons bidding in absentee who have not physically inspected the goods prior to the sale are also subject to these terms. All lots are sold “as is”. There are no warranties expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Hessney Auction Co. and consignors make no guarantee or warranty as to the authenticity of the merchandise, the correctness of the catalog, nor shall any description (oral or written) of condition, size, quality, rarity, importance or provenance be deemed a guarantee.


If after the auctioneer declares any item “sold”, a contest arises between bidders as to who was the successful bidder, the auctioneer reserves the right to reopen the bidding on the contested item.


All sales are subject to a Buyer’s Premium; reference to the Buyer’s Premium is made in auction advertisements, flyers, and catalogues. Buyer’s Premium will be a stated percentage and must be paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.

On the Top middle/ Left Side of page click on “Login/New Bidder”

If you have never registered to bid with us online previously then you are a new bidder, so click on the box that says “New Bidder? Click Here”

Enter your email address as it asks, then click confirm it.

A new Box will open up “Step 2, Tell us about yourself”

Please fill In all the information, Choose your own user ID and Password, You can have the choice weather or not to show your user ID in the next step.

When all the information has been filled out click :” Create New Account”

A box will pop up saying “you have successfully created an account “

Now that you have created your account. You Must register for the auction. On the Auction page you started on, click on the second yellow tab that says “Register To Bid”

You Must add a payment method, Visa, MC or Discover in order to bid.

After adding your CC information check the box on the bottom left corner accepting all terms and conditions.

Then click “Submit Registration”

*** NOTE: now that you have made an account (user name and password) next time that is all you will have to enter to register for an auction for online bidding****


TERMS: Cash, NYS Check, Visa, Master Card, Discover. There is a 13% Buyers Premium for all purchases.

WARRANTY & CONDITION OF ITEMS SOLD: By registering for this auction bidders accept all items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS,” with NO WARRANTY expressed or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine the condition of the items and bid accordingly. Hessney Auction Co. has put forth every effort in preparing the catalog for this auction to provide accurate descriptions of all items. Printed statements or descriptions by staff are provided in good faith and are matters of opinion.

CAUTION: For demonstration purposes various equipment may be joined. Do not assume a lot consists of more than one item simply because they are connected or pictured together. Please inspect the lot numbers and read the descriptions.

CATALOG DISCREPANCIES: You are bidding on the described item, not the photograph. Occasionally the wrong photo may be displayed. Always read the item description. CHOOSE WISELY: We want everyone to get a good deal and most will. However, when you bid on the wrong item or decide an item is not suited for your intended use, our clients are not willing to assume the cost of your mistakes. When in doubt about condition, completeness or suitability for intended use, please bid accordingly. The auctioneer reserves the right to add or remove items from the auction, split or combine lots, add minimum bids or reserve prices. The auctioneer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, extend or reschedule an individual item and or auction event or to make changes to the auction closing times or inspection or removal times. NEITHER THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE SOFTWARE NOR HESSNEY AUCTION CO. LTD SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR A MISSED BID OR THE FAILURE OF THE SOFTWARE TO FUNCTION PROPERLY FOR ANY REASON. Email notifications will be sent to registered bidders with updated information as deemed necessary by Hessney Auction Co. LTD.
